I have been living in east part of Semarang for about 8 months. Since our house in the city being renovated, we rent a small house near the village where people make terracota bricks.It has been ages people do the job in a very traditional way. All are made by hand. However the bricks they make have been distributed all over the city for building construction.
Thatch roof shack is very familiar here. They burn the clay under this roof.
